Before you begin

BEFORE YOU START

Welcome to Forever

Most people have a fuzzy picture of heaven: clouds, harps, maybe a church service that never ends. No wonder so many people quietly hope it’s a long way off.

The Bible paints a completely different picture — a real, brand-new world; a city brighter than anything you’ve ever seen; a resurrected body that never wears out; meaningful work that never gets old; and best of all, God Himself living with His people, face to face.

And here’s the part almost nobody talks about: what you do with your life right now connects to forever. Jesus said He will reward His people and give the faithful real responsibility in His kingdom. Your Monday matters. Your secret prayers matter. The way you treat people when nobody’s watching matters.

That’s what the next 14 days are about. Not a schedule of end-time events — a vision of forever, and what it means for the life you’re living right now.

HOW IT WORKS · 10 MINUTES A DAY

Each day includes a key verse · a short, plain-English reading · a graphic · Real Talk · The Takeaway · two questions · one small action · a prayer.

THE JOURNEY

Your 14 Days

A FEW NOTES

Scripture is quoted from the King James Version. Its old-school English is beautiful but can be dense, so each key verse comes with an In other words line — a plain-English paraphrase to help it click. The paraphrase is ours; the verse is God’s.

This study fast-forwards to forever. It skips past the thousand-year reign of Christ (covered in The Seed Enthroned) and zooms in on the eternal kingdom: the new heaven, the new earth, and what you’ll do there.

The graphics are artistic illustrations of Scripture. The details are imagination; the promises are God’s.

Do it your way. Alone with a journal, with a friend, or with a small group — one day at a time, or one week per meeting.

Conceptual illustration: An artist’s diagram of Revelation 21–22. The details are imagination; the promises are Scripture.
